GIF Image fails to load

I am attempting to load a GIF image into a thread without success:

1. Set "Original Size"
2. Attach the image
3. Page returns "Upload Failed"
4. Red banner at bottom of page: "Did not get an Upload ID"

Any suggestions? Screenshot attached.

Robin did reply, indicating to select "original size". Just as I had been doing - without success.

No luck. I've just avoided any more attempts to load GIFs.
