My buddy just dropped off a pin to be shopped out. The first thing i notice is that half the GI is out. Yep, j6 is toasty. Do you think this is repairable or is it time for a new board?

Cool, thanks guys. I dove in head first. I have the connector off. All traces are good exept one. You can see the bad one lifting in the pic. Should i throw some solder on it? The original solder is burnt off and doesnt go around the pin hole like the others do.

Vid1900. The trace ends where you see it on top of the screwdriver blade. There is nothing on the oppisite side. I can only get a buzz from my MM when i touch the piece sticking up so basically a pin will not touch the trace when its in the hole..... im entering uncharted territory with my board repair skills.

The bottom side. Screwdriver points to bad hole.

Ok... 18-20 guage wire. Circled in red are the connections that buzz with the MM. Im thinking of running the jumper wire as shown. Does this look like a good place to do the jump? Ive cracked open a few pops so it will have to wait until sunday afternoon, just plannin ahead i guess..

Did a little more poking around with the MM. I found another spot where i think i could do the jump. Im thinking i should jump it to B. To the experts out there, what do you think? And also, thanks for all of the help so far!

Sweet success!!! All gi works. Thanks for the help, im going to need some more. Im having another issue. When i start up the pin it doesnt boot. It makes the all good tone then does nothing. I press the advance button and get it into diagnose mode then it acts normal, plays etc. Turn it off and the same thing happens again. Hopefully i make sense.Thoughts???

Yes there are credits. Its weird. Its almost like it starts in diagnose mode when turned on. It doesnt go into attract mode until i press the advance buttons on the coin door and get it out of the diagnose mode. Then it starts attract mode , acts normal, plays games etc... strange.
