Hey guys. The newer Stern pins have an ultra-bright GI lamp board under the apron that shines on the the lower PF. I am wanting to add this lamp to some of my other pins.

Will someone please post some pics of this GI board and provide a p/n if there is one printed on the board.

    Thanks

This varies on Spike 2 machines. My BK:SOR use two tiny flasher boards, which is part of the flasher matrix. Other machines (such as TMNT) are connected to the GI circuit (no lamp board; just bayonets).

It would be easier to just use a Comet Pinball's Matrix Lighting and tap into the GI circuit. Super easy to do and you can get them as bright as you want.

Taking a trip over at Comet Pinball yielded some amazing results. They made their own version of the flasher lamp board.

Just buy a couple of connectors (and maybe an extension cable) and you'll be all set.

    Great info guys.

I would still like a few pics of those sockets/boards under the apron. I want to simply see how they are mounting them.
