I had a Hobbit on order but changed to GB after playing Hobbit. Hobbit is a beautiful game and very deep - it will be a keeper for the serious player and JJP code updates will keep it interesting for you.
But my machine is going in my summer rental place and most of these renters will be playing a pin for the first time. So Hobbit just wouldn't fit in - I needed less of a "Time Zone" kind of game and more of a "Whoa Nellie".
They are really 2 quite different kind of games and you really have to do some soul searching to figure out what's right for you.

It's called Tee's Tease and I think 5 weeks are left as of now - you can Google it. I'm not sure if GB will be there until mid-late summer but WOZ is there now.

Quoted from rai:

"My wife is one of 9"
I think the award should go to anyone with 9 wives

I may be in the minority but I like WOZ from the first time I played it...I'm guessing it had code 4.11 or so it was somewhat developed by then.

Quoted from Eskaybee:

IMO, this is worse than anything Kaneda has ever done. Yes, I went there.

I'll need some time to ponder this

Quoted from someoneelse:

Probably a joke, but i don't get it either.

I don't get it either - maybe funnier if "Hobbit 2nd place! Ghostbusters next to last"

Thanks for the promo - show's a close up of GB playfield I haven't seen.

The flippers on a JJP games have a solid feel like no other. It's the one thing I wish Stern would duplicate. But for simple
pure adrenaline fun Stern has some great offerings. I'm lucky to have both a WOZ and a GB (on order).

BTW - Flippers in Grandy still has no GB. Hobbit was broken and shut off (I love the feel of the game but not the gameplay) so I tried IJ for the first time then Star Trek. I do like the ST left outlane kicker that returns the ball to play just when you think you've lost it.

I've been pro JJP since the beginning. I like the direction Jack has moved pinball. The problems with my WOZ were numerous but Frank and Lloyd were there to correct them. A Hobbit was ordered to join my WOZ and while the machine oozes quality the gameplay was jaw dropping bad-for me. Hobbit was dropped for GB. My excellent dealer Joe at Pinballstar was very understanding. I'm glad for people that love their Hobbits but it simply wasn't for me. No comment on GB as yet as I haven't played it.

I've never noticed excessive fan noise from my WOZ but from now on I guess I'll be listening for it.
