Had an amazing game on WOZ. Looking forward to my Hobbit.

My four and seven year old can handle the info on WOZ display. It's what your preference at the end of the day. I honestly prefer to go by the audio cues when I'm playing then glance/study the LCD when there is a break in play. Feels a totally natural progression to me.

Thanks for sharing that, things I learned about the pro while watching this:

- art package is stunning, maybe one of the best ever
- outlanes seem to be more brutal than the flipper gap (so the gap is a non-issue)
- more stop and go than I thought both in gameplay and DMD animations (big factor for me)
- sound package is amazing
- mono dots are a missed opportunity
- prefer the old school slings from what I've seen

edit: slimer toy is also nothing special to me, not sure why

In short, staying with my Hobbit pre-order as it ticks more of what I'm looking for in a home pin.

Jammed balls and the wireform issues are teething problems. A fart in a tea cup.

Quoted from rai:

I'm sorry but didn't they have 3 years to figure this out? Plus I'm fairly sure there was criticism about the redundant third flipper from day one.

Yes I'm also surprised on the number of issues, but at least they are being worked on. I think the ball jam has been helped in the code update?

I trust Keith with the third flipper. He said as much, exercise some patience...

Quoted from CobraClutch:

What does that even mean?!

That it's nothing important. If you farted in a tea cup it would float away.

Everyone says GB has flow, I've never played it but in all the videos I've watched I just don't see it as flowy. If anything it's more stop and go.

Pin choice is personal, I'm in on a Hobbit and initially nearly bailed for a GB but at this point I'm so glad I didn't. There seems to be plenty of GBs on the second market even now so may pick one up somewhere down the road.

Fair point chaps, nice to hear.

Played 4 GBs (mix of pro and premiums) in the wild and it always leaves me cold. TH is a different game, an epic adventure.
