I have played around 30 games on Hobbit at Silverball Museum. It seems pretty good.
I have no games on any version of GB and bought the LE.

Quoted from Jvspin:I have it on order, so I'm certainly biased. But, you have shown a pretty consistent negative bias for all things JJP as well, so your comments could also be taken with a grain of salt.
I have seen a couple videos where the game wasn't set up slow and floaty and it looked pretty fast. I'm sure it can be cranked up even faster but as other's have mentioned, don't know if you'll start damaging things.
I think one of the JJP employees must have made fun of him at an open house.
Quoted from RTS:This is the argument you choose?
Ghostbusters pinball missed the movie release by decades.
Stern was contractually obligated to release GB within 32 years of the film's release date.
Quoted from woodworker:Yes. They would have made it anyway. The timing is very fortuitous for Stern, but they are in the business of making money. Making money means picking good themes for their games.
Can't wait to give them more money when Jaws is released.
Quoted from frankmac:Is it safe to say that "JJP"Has aan overall better build quality than a "STERN" pinball machine?!
Quality of materials? Yes, I don't believe it's close.
Build quality and attention to details? Probably not.
And with that being said, I just bought a GBLE.
Quoted from SilverBallz:if it ain't broke, it ain't pinball
It is possible that statement was acceptable when a machine was 4K.
At 9K, you are going to have some problems with that attitude.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Still just seems odd to me. I don't see Ford, GM or Chrysler stripping features out of higher end models just to see if people will keep buying the vehicle...
I'm just glad JJP is still offering value at the LE level with true high quality powder coated armor, invisiglass and I think it actually has real mirrored backglass? The last item is the one I just don't understand Stern dropping from LE's. Many of Stern's mirrored back glasses look incredible.
No backglass on the GB LE?
I am bummed about that if true.
Quoted from frankmac:Chrome Pro looking fantastic!!
» YouTube video
Polished Chrome definitely looks the best on this machine.
Quoted from Ranhorton:.
Showed my son videos of TH and GBLE and he loves GBLE more.
Thanks for your thoughts jar155!
I would hesitate basing a decision on your son's opinion. Five of my machines were selected by my children and they haven't played a single ball in almost 2 years.
