Top whatever is always subjective. Both TH and GBLE (most likely) are great games in their own right. I personally wouldn't buy a pro. If you want to play what Trudeau originally designed and intended for GB you have to get the Premium/LE.

They are both fun games that can be enjoyed in different ways. I bet they would complement each other well.

How many engineering problems needed to be corrected for Stern games? We don't know because Stern isn't transparent like JJP is/has been.

There is no other system like what is in a JJP pin so it's hard to compare. You are correct, JJP had to figure issues out while producing machines but it is to be expected that there will be engineering problems to be resolved along the way with a complex system and a new design.

Stern's games are much less complicated. Even moving to Spike hasn't advanced their game that much so far. It will be interesting to see how flexible Spike is in the future.
