picked up a lightly routed Gb with known slimer motor issues...SLimer mech seems to get stuck i up or down position and fails the Slimer test. The switches mounted to it 33, 34) both look good and register each time the motor cyccles through. But it keeps stopping and starting at wired times. I really don't see any adjustments on the switches. I have a working GB that I'm shopping for a friend so I can see exactly how a working one should operate. Cant think of anything else to do. Anyone ever have similar issues? Any place to get the assembly? the entire assembly is out of stock at marco and looks like it has everything I would need.

I just picked up a used GB (My first pin!) and am having the same issue. Anyone found the cause or a fix?

I had to replace my Slimer motor 2 months ago due to failure. You can replace just the motor and gear housing with this part from pinballlife. I had to transfer over the capacitor from my old slimer motor but that was it and it is working great. FYI my machine was on route for 2 years before the motor failed and it’s been on rout since the replacement was installed with no issues.
