I want to get some side blades for my Ghostbusters, but having trouble figuring out which ones I like.

Does anyone have them and if so can you post pics up and brand? At this point I'm debating between Tilt Graphics and Stern's. I like the fact that Tilt Graphic's are air egress so they can be re-positioned at install if need be, not sure if Stern's are like that or not.

I am leaning towards Tilt's also... Sterns are blades most likely.

I selected Stern's because I prefer Zombie's artwork. Easy to install using Rapid Tack. As they set I just made sure there were no air bubbles or fluid under the material. I also removed the playfield which made the installment that much easier. If you do decide to remove the playfield, be sure to have someone help.

Can you post some pics on what they look like installed please?

So they arent blades then. Interesting...

I also purchased the ZY blades from Stern and absolutely love them! The artwork is top notch and it blends in quite seamlessly with the rest of the game. One of the aspects that I like about it in terms of design is that the buildings are different scales and at different distances so it gives the sides a lot more depth than other blade art out there. There are also nice details like trees in the foreground around the library on the left and New York harbor (with the Titanic ghost ship from GBII) on the right. This helps break up the repetition of the buildings and makes it feel more like a city.

Getting them installed isn't bad if you remove (or lift up and turn) the playfield. Definitely a 2 person job! I didn't have any Rapid Tack so I just applied soapy water with a spray bottle to the back side of the decals in order to have a little play in lining them up properly. Worked out great! As mentioned above, you will definitely want to squeegee the water out from behind the decals once you have them in place (I actually just used a credit card). Hold a towel at the bottom as you move along the panel to catch the water that comes out. Even if you get a bubble or a ripple, you'll be able to flatten it out by working the squeegee downwards or to either end of the decal. I got a ripple on one of them during the install and was able to just work the ripple down to the back end of the decal to smooth it out.

Sorry for the mediocre pics but you get the idea.

Great Review! Thanks for details about the trees, buildings and ships that break up the monotony of just buildings. My game is on the list for a playfield replacement so sounds like will be the perfect time to install some side art! Where did you buy yours from?

I installed Pin Graffix and Tilt Graphics game blades using the wet method. I do not remove the playfield. I created a video showing my method on three brands of pinball.

I just got them from the Stern shop. Pretty quick shipment too! Only took around 4 days or so to get here with standard shipping.

I added the ZY blades from Stern as well and think they complement the overall look of the game perfectly. I did remove the pf from the cabinet with my pinball technician and he installed them seamlessly and quickly.

Here are the gameblades from TiltGraphics I carry on my website. There are other cool GB mods (library mod) that can you can save with combined shipping. They have vibrant colors and the graphic design matches the artwork style great. Installation is pretty easy, lift the playfield and slide them into position, then press down to stick. Its easier with a friend helping you out. Either holding a flashlight , or looking at the back while you are lining up the front. My wife and I installed 8 gameblades in a little over an hour last week at a friends house.
