This is just my own personal opinion but I will not be spending an additional $500+ on an aftermarket mod manufactured by Stern for a game that costs at least $5100.

The math just doesn't make sense. It's not like you miss them being there with the game as it is. And unless they do something amazing, like work with the magnets to hold and move the balls while captured by the streams, I just can't fathom spending the cash on them.

Hell, add another $1500 and get another DMD game FTW....
Stern's greed is getting in the way of them making mods that are affordable enough for them to be attractive IMHO.

Quoted from Flato:

This is going to be the first official add on pack for a pinball machine sort of like DLC for video games, if it adds additional modes that interact with the new proton streams this is going to rock!

If Stern goes this direction I am done with them. And no, in my opinion it won't rock. Quite the opposite.
One of the main reasons I stopped playing console games was the bullshit DLC model that makes your game unplayable online with your friends unless you purchase DLC content.
It's already bad enough that we get games with incomplete code but making us pay more for extra modes, interactive add ons and the like is pure greed and total bull shit.
Don't cheer on their greed and act like you benefit from it. They should have included these to begin with and made the part of the game. After market DLC has zero place in pinball.

And that's just like, my opinion man.
