After playing GB today, I vote for Metallica
Quoted from golfingdad1:for the casual player. Hopefully these concerns can be limited by how it is setup.
The way I see it is that casual players don't buy pinball machines. So they can be pissed and walk away. Who cares?
Don't buy @ launch
MET has compete code & all the bugs worked out
GB is incomplete based on every Stern game ever made before it, the slimmer mech has already changed, playfield has typos, the proton streams were cut last minute, the upper wireform bend issue has not been resolved nor has the lower lane metal wire. Plus the next game will have an LCD...
Risk management applies to investments, income, insurance & pinball lol
But I still want a GB

Well the casual player is 11 years old , so ?
Let me add if the family doesn't play it , it's a concern for me.

That sums up my thoughts perfectly. GB definitely has some kinks to be worked out. I still want one but smart thing is to wait for issues to be resolved. MET is a solid game but production is almost over. Then you have color displays coming out soon. Maybe there will be an awesome Star Wars with a great display that blows GB away. Probably will be a while for something like that, though. Not sure I want to end up with an all Stern lineup either.
Met is a solid game, as mentioned at this point the software on met is finished gb will need time but with how big of a game it is, you know they are going to go all out in it, both are sterns best looking games, theme I dont like metallica, but also ghostbusters isnt a great movie either but Id go gb, fun, met I just dont love playing, where as I really enjoyed gb, just a blast to play!
Im ordering a gb pro..
Here's a thought
KISS is a huge seller for Stern. So surely they'd go all in & make it perfect right?
Ask the KISS owners or search the forum to see if the game is complete & free of physical issues &/or programming bugs.
The treatment of past games are indicative of future games
What's up with that GOT orbit I keep hearing about?
