I guess I'm gonna have to try this tonight. I've been resisting, but it's so cold outside and this will give me something to do
Quoted from 30FathomDave:Glad it’s not just me...
Damn... Everytime I see a new post I think it's it!
There is a premium/le link halfway down page 1. I'm getting the feeling that link may have been updated.
Thanks! I haven't done this yet, we just click the link, save it to a stck, then update? Do I need to name it anything in particular, or the game just recognizes it? This is happening today after kids basketball game
Quoted from 30FathomDave:So can anyone confirm if the cleland link earlier in the thread was updated, as was speculated yesterday... and if so, what was changed?
My game wasn't recognizing anything on the stick, so I decided to just wait until this volume issue is ironed out.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have successfully updated games with stern code using my 4 g memory stick, but i can't get this to work. I reformatted in fat32, empty stick. downloaded v3 of this code, saved it onto the stick. inserted stick while game is off, start up game, and it just goes to play mode, never initiating an update
Quoted from imagamejunky:My guess is that it’s either the wrong code (pro vs Prem) or you are having a problem with that one usb stick. I had the exact same issue with TWD. It turned out to be the stick brand. Switching sticks fixed it believe it or not.
Junky
I tried two different sticks, and I'm using v3 for premium in my LE. Ugh.
Quoted from delt31:verify the size and location of the file on your usb stick. Should be root
Please forgive my ignorance here..... I have never had this issue. I see the file on the stick as the only file. How do I know it’s in the “root”directory? It says it’s 378 mb
Quoted from imagamejunky:I'm not at my computer right now to check. However I remember that the premium update file was closer to 900 megabytes so 300 seems way too small
thanks, guys.not sure what i did differently, but i started over, and the file was over 900mb. game is doing the update as i type thanks for your help and patience.
*** i wasn't sure what to expect with this. i think i kinda thought it was going to sound "hacked" with abrupt beginning/endings to sound clips. well, it is awesome. i really like the change to the cool instrumental tracks, and the mode songs jazz it up. i was happy with the stock set up, but man is this cool. Keeping it. thank you guys so much for taking the time to do this and share it.
Quoted from Mudflaps:Glad you gave it a try!
Our household is split on this issue. My wife and I are like the new music, but my 12 year old was playing and heard Bobby Brown and said "REALLY?!"
He had an idea, that I'm sure is not possible, to leave the original soundtrack and this new soundtrack and have them alternate for the modes to switch it up.
Quoted from Mudflaps:It’s not possible to have a ‘random’ mix of music, but it’s an important trait of family health to have an open and honest discussion about the cultural relevance of Bobby Brown.
LMAO!
Quoted from Mudflaps:Hell yeah I’m going to update the sound package.
I’ll need a while to enjoy the code and explore what Dwight and company have done, but I’ll upload custom tunes as soon as I can.
Fifty thumbs up!
Quoted from Mudflaps:Multiball music is about 60 seconds and defaults to mode music unless there’s no running mode. At least that was the last software version.
I tried to do something cool for multiball, but the software limitations meant there wouldn’t be any room for quality music.
My son says " that sounds like an excuse to me!" LOL. It's great, I just thought I remembered Bobby brown in there before. Have a happy turkey day
