Hello all, I recently bought an MARS AE 2411 bill accepter. I installed it and tested it and it works fine. The problem is, when I put a one dollar bill in, ghostbusters gives 6 credits instead of just 1. I have the pricing set on USA 11 so $1=1 play, $2=3 plays, etc... I am going to put this in my restaurant and any help would be appreciated. v1.13

on the side of the accepter, usually on the right side facing the machine with the coin door open.

buffaloatx ExtremePinball Hey thanks guys! That was it! Now I ran into a new problem, damn it. When I put the acceptor (AE 2411)in the coin door, the stacker sticks out too far and hits the playfield. If I lift the playfield then close the door, the stacker hits the circuit board on the bottom of the playfield! What is up with that? I took the white spacers off and it still hits the playfield so I am unable to close the door. The manual specifically states series 2000 MEI stackers.

What capacity is your stacker? I have a 300 bill acceptor on mine and it fits fine. Is yours a 500 bill capacity?

Lol, it's a 700! No wonder.

You need a 500 or preferably a 300 capacity bill magazine. A 700 sticks out too far.

You can gently raise the playfield with your one hand while closing the door with the other to help the stacker clear. Also, when you install it, push down a bit to make sure you are sitting at the bottom of the installation hopes. Had the same problem and ultimately switched to a 300 stacker to solve the issue.

For Stern pinball machines, I use a 200 or 300 note stacker. Usually available on ebay, but not cheap.

Can you guys operating GB Pro out in the wild PM me *pretty please* what your games are bringing in monthly to help me decide whether or not routing a pin makes sense at my high traffic account.

One needs to define "high traffic".

My GB Pro at the Big Apple Coaster & Arcade in NYNY Casino Resort, in a bank of 10 modern Sterns, grosses $1200 per month over the last 13 months. This is a true "high traffic" tourist account with more than 1.2 million visitors per year to the arcade. Two visits per week are necessary for proper operation of this account.

My GB LE at Fremont Arcade, in a bank of 10-16 pins, grossed $387 per month during the 6 months it was on location. This is also a high traffic tourist account, but not anywhere near NYNY. I would consider this number "high" revenue for a single pin street account.

Rule #1: The cashbox doesn't lie. I don't give a shit how popular any game is, if there's no money in the cashbox, something's wrong.
Rule #2: Every location is different. A cash cow in one location may not earn anything in another, vice versa.
Rule #3: Every "location" within the location is different. Take a pin from one side of a room, move it to another side, and your revenue will change.

Good luck!!

EDIT:

NYNY is on a swipe card system, Fremont is on DBA & Tokens.
