I'd like to create a mega thread where I update this post with all of the most recent updates for GB P/LE.

As someone new to owning a pin, and pinsiders, I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the information around. So I'd like to get your feedback on any updates, mods, fixes, and/or anything else a GB owner should know. I'll make sure to organize everything as I learn here:

Update 1.11 Issues

Playfield Issues

  • Slimer hiding out after activation to the library or the city where it can't be hit Fix ???
  • Kids will lightly launch the ball and it would get trapped by the magnet in the storage facility Fix ???
  • Right orbit rejection Fix ???

Adjustments

  • Seeing a lot of people recommending an angle of 6.5*
  • Recommended set for scoop kickouts - ???
  • Recommended through launch - ???

Mods

I'd like to know the power people have their scoop kickouts set to. I can't seem to find the sweet spot between appropriately challenging and too easy.

That topic is 7 months old and it's hard to determine what's relevant anymore. Plus I'm more interested in specific details, not just "here are all the issues".

Looks like someone created a topic like this already but it's not organized and would require reading 7 months of posts.

I'm running the latest and I don't have the playfield lighting issue. I havent read much of others having that issue either. Sounds like it was an isolated event.

Running 1.11 and as of now no issues after over a wekk . Tokk me two weeks to dial in but its a silky smooth PREMIUM ....

I'm having an issue that I wasn't able to find anyone talking about in that thread.

My right orbit rejects about 70% of the time. I've attached some videos to demonstrate, but either one of two things happens: It either completely rejects and comes back down the right orbit, or it rattles and instead falls into pops. Annoying when you have a mode lit or skill shot lit on the right orbit.

I'm still unsure if something is making the ball get some air and rattle off the gate, or if the gate itself is broken.

This is NOT the same as the over-eager plunger spring that others have talked about.

Anyone else?

Do you have one of the earlier releases or one of the latest ones, maybe it has something to do with that.

Call your distributor and ask them to see what they say. If that doesn't work, call stern support. Chas will get back to you and help you figure it out.

Great idea, so many GB threads it's hard to keep track of updates of fixes to common issues. Here's some that I keep seeing

Shooter lane eject/ball through overpowered: The game comes set on max power or 255 which seems to lead to damage in shooter lane *180 worked great for mine

Critical Quick Fix for Ghostbusters to prevent game from shorting out boards!!!
