Quoted from Tech257:We got one!
It's at Level 257 in Schaumburg IL
My pants just moved a little.
Quoted from Air_Pinball:That's what they always say.....
This was the first time I've heard it from my distributor, who has kept pretty quiet through this whole thing.
Is anyone else in full-on "look at my phone every sixty seconds, hoping for an update from my distributor" mode?
Me neither. I'm just asking... for a friend. Yeah.
The call!!!!!
I'm officially preparing for the coming of Gozer, which is evidently this Saturday.
Wooooooooooooo!
Quoted from Mitch:How did you mount it?
I used peelable glue dots, like these:

They roll on easily and come off just as easily (without damaging the plastics), and they hold really well. I've used them for mounting several mods.
Forgive my ignorance and the Seinfeldian nature of my question, but what's the deal with shooter lane wear? Does it impact game play, and if not, why should I care?
Quoted from flynnibus:Cabinet damage doesn't impact game play either, yet when we want a clean example of a game, we look at it.
Shooter lane is just one area that is commonly worn, and so a look there is often a tell of a game's history. When someone says "low plays!" and then the shooter lane looks like it was dragged through the gutter... you know there were a lot of plays.
In this particular instance of Stern Clear Coat... its important because its separation from the wood due to impact. It's not just cosmetic and won't just stop with one spot.
I guess. I still kind of look at it like putting plastic over your couch or leaving the sticker on your hat. I've got a Cliffy or two in my lineup, but they're there to cover existing wear... though I can certainly see the argument for addressing it before it becomes an issue.
Quoted from bigd1979:Anyone have a machine made on October 17? Id love to possibly have one made on my birthday....
Mine was made on my birthday (September 30th), which I thought was pretty cool.
