Ghostbusters (Pro) Stern, 2016

So Ghostbusters (the original movie) is one of those themes that I would most likely be in day one. There have been a bunch of rumors floating around about this (potential) game so I figured it makes sense to have everything in one place.

Here are the rumors that I have heard. I have ZERO insider knowledge so this is all speculation.
-Stern is in fact making a Ghostbusters Pin
-It will be one of the first games with an LCD display
-The LE version might feature the original cast
- Designed by?
- Programming?
-2016?

If anyone has any other "educated" guesses feel free to chime in

Proton pack wand grip for the ball launcher

Zombie Yeti is rumored to be doing the artwork for Ghostbusters.

Egon is a real ghost

Those are some funny chicks, can't wait for the call outs!

Love to have Bill Murray on it for call outs.....

If they just had the rights to the original movie we wouldnt really need custom callouts. Hopefully they wont have jimbob or whomever did the callouts on Xmen or TWD

I could see Dan Aykroyd being up for recording some custom callouts for this. He was really supportive of the GB video game that came out in 2009 and helped get most of the original cast to record dialogue for it. Not to mention that he has always had a great energy about him that would be great for pin callouts!

I bought a Ghostbusters video game for my 360 a number of years ago. The original cast did the voices for the game and Bill Murray wax pathetic. Like worse than Karl Urban pathetic. I was so disappointed with that.

Toys I'd envision, if GB is officially made (notwithstanding the awesome FG remake):

-sub playfield ghost trap ball lock (LE version has smoke and lights coming out of it)
-Inflatable Stay Puft bash toy
-magnets in crazy places to simulate ghost activity
-playfield that rips open
-floating apparitions
-slimy playfield decorations!

I *never* buy a pin sight unseen..... I am 99% sure I would buy a Stern Ghostbusters pin sight unseen. Myself, my wife, my 7 year old and my 4 year old all love Ghostbusters..... Themes sell in my house and Ghostbusters is THE theme. Ugghh..... I hope these are just rumors, I don't really want to sell anything to make room for this.

Reminds me of the AMH callout: "I never believed in ghosts... until I did."

I would not buy a pin sight unseen either... unless its Jaws or Ghostbusters. It's just one of those must have themes.

And what about paying tribute to classic Stern by having a miniature of the Ghostbusters loft complete with a Star Gazer pin.
