Looking for tech help:

Ghostbusters Premium: node 8 failed. Replaced it. Center led board works intermittently. Left side led board never works. Both test good in another machine.

Passes node test. Trough optos seem to work, but on starting a game it kicks out all the balls to the shooter lane. Is this a shorted drive transistor on node 8? (Doesnt seen like it) what else would cause this behavior? It smoked the auto launch coil once while thisbwas happening…

The ‘inductor’ on the node 8 board got too hot to touch when the problem was happening… other nodes in the other game dont get this hot. Assuming that is part of the original failure…?

Anyone have experience with this issue? Seems like node 8 fried something in the power for the light boards, is that not included in the node test?

It had pin stadium lights, which have been removed for now. Pretty sure thats the only mod…
