I think brutal games need a clever rule set that are non-linear, or allow you to select modes, otherwise most players will never get to see most of the game. "Deep" games with stories to tell should be a little easier.
TWD, Metallica for example can be brutal (TWD more so) but the rule set is non linear, so it's possible to see a lot early in the game without having to slug away at modes. On ACDC, which can also be brutal, the player can select all the modes from the beginning.
LOTR, Hobbit, Tspp need to be less brutal so you can progress through the game and see the story.
Not sure where GB fits in rules wise, but hopefully the rules allow for its difficulty.

So in GB can you select one of the 3 mode groups at all? Or you always start with group 1 then group 2 etc.

Ghostbusters flipper coils. 2 leads only

Regular single wound coils. Not sure why they made such a big deal out of the "no Buzz" dual wound coils on Spike, and then dropped them. GOT was the first game I saw without the dual wound coils. Kiss & WWE both had them.

MIB would make a great pin. MIB 2 was lame, but 3 was better.

I think a lot has to do with chemistry between the actors. By the time they try and recreate it for the second movie,, it's gone.

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey was good, though

Haven't seen either.....am I missing something?

I really want to see the magnetic only slingshots in action before pulling the trigger!!!
Someone please at least show video of the differences in action.

Stay tuned.....

Metallica le hammer never works right
Twd le major left ramp problems and not near as smooth as the pro

Don't have either of these problems on mine.

Quoted from LOTR_breath:

You must concentrate on MB's. And while in MB, concentrate on add-a-balls and multipliers.

This is true of a lot of the hard games - TWD, Metallica for example. You need the multiballs to get good ball save time, the few bonus balls (that the multiball gives you), and some possible add-a-balls. This compensates for the difficult layout and allows you to take the risky shots you need to score.

Combine this with some PF multipliers and possible mode stacking and the scoring opens up.

The problem if this type of game is combined with a strong mode based story type of game is that you never appreciate the mode itself because it can often be running during a crazy multiball.

Im not sure GB is really trying to be a story/mode type of game. As Dave H sais, its a little schizophrenic. Its a bit of a hybrid, not really linear story modes, but not just a strategy point scoring game either. Fantastic for players/collectors, just not sure how long the average location player will keep pumping coins in before they give up.

Quoted from Reality_Studio:

I went back one last time (back home now) and used a bubble level app, it measure the slope as 19.8 degrees. As to how accurate that is, who knows.

That must be the measurement on topic the glass?
