Looks like your playfield's now on HSA site - http://www.hsapinball.com/HSA_PINBALL/hsa052517sterngbles1.html

i'm getting a new playfield sent to me to replace the factory one that had inserts coming out after only 397 plays. Obviously you would recommend getting the new one cleared yes?

I have heard both good/bad stories about the replacement playfields from Stern. If GB is a keeper for you, I would recommend having it professionally cleared.

Excellent job meeting your goal in post #1. I really enjoyed the pics. Respect for sticking through the thread, Dispite off -topic distractions. Difficult to avoid derailment, so good job there too. Thanks for sharing the process.

or Installing a PP. sorry i did not read all this thread but do you have cleared it with all mechs underneath the pf?

when i had my premium, i was removing the outlane post to install the PP when it came with some CC and piece of wood!

now i am in with a SW premium, i just pray to get a nice playfield but i would install a PP for sure

Thanks to all for the positive feedback! I really enjoyed this project. Honestly, the GB restore was relatively easy compared to some of my past restorations (especially White Water). My only issue is the ball jumps off the left ramp. I may have the base of the ramp pulled to tight to the playfield. Will try loosening it up a little this weekend.

Thanks for the insight. i've already contacted hsa.

How is the PF holding up? Are the inserts still ghost free?

No issues. Playfield is perfect. Zero chipping issues too. HSA does fantastic work.
