Sounds like a good way to sell a single preorder. Say you sold the one you have and offer the next one (the only one) instead.

You can often contaxt your local dock / terminal where it arrives and go pick it up saving a day or two. The docks are usually open 24 hours also.

There is nothing to make right. Stern doesn't take preorders. So as far as they're concerned, no one has bought a game yet because none have been released. There's nothing to apologize for in that scenario nor does stern owe anyone an explanation as to what's happening internally in their company as to why there is a delay.

No it's not. The distributor had already allocated N LEs before you ordered any. Then the distributor would have had to pay for all N LEs when stern said payment was due. That's between the distro and stern. Stern doesn't support preorder model so the sale from distro to you shouldn't have yet occurred. The fact that it did isn't sterns concern nor is stern obligated to give you any further info.
