If you start a level 1 mode instead, you're looking at 21M for a few relatively easy/safe shots. You're also making progress toward even higher value modes/MBs. The potential points exceed a static 60M significantly.
In league/tourney play, the initial point blast may be more valuable. I would assume scores in competition are significantly lower than home scores.
