Quoted from dimthedaylights:I’m gonna get shammed for this but my ghostbusters is my only machine out of 5 that’s an lcd and I run it in dots xl and wish it was an led.
If you were a little closer I'd gladly trade it for my LED!

Quoted from pinballaddicted:We match every game to the holes. The holes are meant to be the middle of the end of the flipper. Play them how they were designed to be played! It is up to you how you set it up. Each to their own!
I'm able to make all of the shots, it just feels a little odd. I'm not sure I've ever seen a game not match the inlane.
Quoted from Rager170:Interesting.
Anyone have a newer build that you can share pictures? Would like to see how they changed the flipper position.
The build date on mine is 7/8/16. Not sure how long they ran for. Pic one page back.
Quoted from dimthedaylights:So I’m having a dumb moment, what registers the scoleri brother switch. Currently when I knock it down the light stays on and acts like it didn’t register the hit 2/10 times.
At least on my Pro, there is a captive ball that hits a target. The ball guide to the left of it takes a beating and ends up getting in the way of the captive ball. You can bend it back out. There is a fix I bought from somewhere but I haven't installed it yet.

Never tried it on a premium, but give it a shot. Just install on a new SD card so you can pop your card back in if it doesn’t work.
What songs did you use? Does the card retain game settings and high scores?
I prefer the LCD. I had one I planned on putting in the game, but it was an earlier version and wouldn't work without some modification. I had an LED in my AC/DC just because it came that way second hand. I didn't like the LCD in AC/DC but I don't mind it in GB. The LED is a cleaner install. Neither is bad. If you like dots, go with the LED. If you like the blurred look go with LCD.
Quoted from Rager170:Does anyone have a solution for my slingshot rubber going behind the leaf switch? I have moved the rubber to the lower but it makes the ball jump, so i dont like that position.
Some have said to bend it over the rubber but the metal leaf isnt long enough to do that.
Sounds like it's the wrong size. Try 1 size smaller. Is it a silicone ring? Sizing seems a little off on some of those.
Quoted from orlandu81:Hello GB owners!
I just changed out my black rubber kit to a mix of GITD and clear ones from Titan and am very happy with not just the look, but the feel too. As someone who did not like the feel of these on my IJ, I am actually quite surprised that my shots have been better on GB since changing.
Anyone else feel this way? You liked the feel of them on one machine and not another? They look awesome either way but I had to switch my IJ back to a standard rubber kit because it didn’t feel right.
Anyways, here are some pics. I went with a user submitted kit and I’m very happy. Clear was used on the bright areas, GITD everywhere else.

Glow in the dark looks fantastic, does it glow at all during game play?
Did you have actual Titan's on the IJ? The Superbands look similar to the Titan, but feel totally different. By different, I mean awful. I thought the Titan's were pretty close to the real rubber feel on every game I've tried so far.
Wanted to give my GB Pro a good cleaning, wax, install a couple mods I had and rebuild the flippers. All past due. All was going great and I was close to enjoying some Halloween fun until I got to the flipper rebuild. Have you ever seen a crank this worn? Needless to say, GB is out of commission until my Marco order comes in.

This was a location game. No idea how many plays since it last had a flipper rebuild. I find the majority of the time a new plastic link and coil sleeve and I'm good to go. I don't replace the crank unless it's an incorrect part, high end restoration or in this rare case, totally garbage.
Just gave my GB a good cleaning, wax, and some Titan Glow in the Dark rubber. I had to reset my scores because it's a different game when it's clean. I bought the game routed, I don't think I've ever played one that wasn't dirty and slow, This game is brutal when it's clean! My Slimer sounds like a train whistle. Has anyone else experienced this? I suppose a total teardown of the assembly is in order.
Quoted from The-Bee:I have now had to replace the subway eject coil twice in the last year. Has anyone else had this issue? Being relatively new to pinball is that a pretty common occurrence or is this something to be concerned about?
Yes, it is something to be concerned about. A coil isn't really a wear item. It typically only fails if something else is wrong. The once a year part doesn't make sense though, usually if something is causing the coil to melt it's fairly quick, not over the course of a year. What is broken about it?
Quoted from The-Bee:Thanks Shredso, the switch works but the ball doesn’t eject. When I run the coil test it just doesn’t fire. Now to be fair when I replaced the first one at the pinball store last year they didn’t have the right coil in stock (Premium GB) so the technician removed the subway eject coil from a GB Pro floor model. I didn’t think anything of it until it failed again. I just installed new under cabinet lighting and a colour DMD but wouldn’t think that would play a role here. B
Have you double checked the solder connections? Checked the coil for voltage?
Quoted from HowieNerdcraft:I have been playing for months with scare mode on. We had it off for quite awhile as the kids could not handle it. Ive turned it on again and have not heard it since. Did the new update turn it off?
I heard it 2 days ago for the first time in awhile. Maybe it's less frequent?
Quoted from mrm_4:I have this thing happen with the scream where I'll hit the subway scoop on the right and the game goes dark and cuts the sound like its about to Scream but nothing happens and the game goes on. Anyone else ever get that?
Feature adjustment #35 is called "Allow scare feature". Is yours set to off?
Does anyone find the back of the playfield dark on the Pro? I gave it a decent clean and wax. Kinda wish I did a full teardown but it's clean. I don't see any lamps out. Any good homebrew lighting mod suggestions to brighten it up?
Quoted from Green-Machine:Joining the club. Added GB to my collection from my dear friend Terry(Who-Dey) who passed away last year. We are very pleased to now have a piece of Terry’s collection as a keepsake.

I believe you could save an image or copy of that SD card and you could keep the scores with his name backup up.
Quoted from tasman:I need to replace my rubbers and was wondering what are the best rubber to get and where to buy?
Glow in the dark Titan!

Quoted from Rager170:Has anyone installed a headphone jack into the front of this game? I saw this but wasnt sure if it is compatible with GB?https://www.pinballlife.com/stern-spike-2-headphone-jack-accessory-kit.html
Any insight for this product or alternatives would be very appreciated.
I highly recommend checking out Pinnovators for headphone jacks. You won't find better support and they are local and great people. Personally I think the external volume control is worth an extra $20. Plus I'd rather support local small business.
Quoted from tasman:My rubbers need to be replaced and was wondering What are the best rubbers and who sells them
Thanks

Anyone find that a certain path or strategy gets you through the progress better?
I was going to ask something similar. I tend to be a completionist over high score. I want to see all the modes and a wizard mode. My sale fell through so I really want to get this game working 100% and really learn it.
