Quoted from bent98:Mountain gamer . When do you order yours?
I had been in contact with JJ on and off the last few weeks - we talked again last Monday - I ordered it then, and they delivered it that Friday.
Quoted from chuckcasey:Well damn, I have 265660. How are you liken' it so far?
Right on - cheers Chuck!
Definately a tough game - the gap between the flippers is huge - are people actually drilling the playfield & installing a center post like on WOZ? I wonder how much different longer flippers look and feel playing the game? I'm installing the cliffy set tonight & gonna order a guard to stop the hops off the stand-ups. Overall it looks awesome, but hard as hell out of the box. I've only gotten multiball once so far from the locks which is frustrating - I know - play better!
Quoted from bent98:How did you get it so quick? I've been waiting months for my premium.
Sorry Bent - JJ had a few coming in and one was available so I jumped on it.... sounds like they have the earlier issues worked out and are starting to ship again - hope you get yours soon!
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:I have a PBL Set, I was going to bundle with an airball protector and put up later...
$75 is the cost to get both from vendors......$59 ship for both, if one needs.
Pm sent Art!
Quoted from Mando:Arghh this game is so freaking hard sometimes I need to be in the zone to get anywhere !
Agreed! We played just Ghostbusters for about 2hrs straight last night & my best game was 177 million - then my 14yr old daughter who grew up on pinball scored 757 Million..... I remember her having a monster multiball but not much more. Hate it when the kids beat me at stuff - it's why I stopped playing Xbox! Getting old sucks!
Ok premium / le owners... I just played 1 game - beat who let the dog out, then was shooting for the left orbit - OMG - hit the 2x standup & the ball flew all the way back over the flippers and drained, went for it again, hit the 2x again - this time the ball flew diagonally across the playfield over the right slings & drained. Third ball shooting for the big ramp - hit the ramp and the ball jumped and smacked the glass - this game is possessed! I've got Arts ball hop protector ordered, but do the flippers need to be turned down? I'm afraid to play it
Thanks for all the feedback! I get using washers to aim the stand ups downward & will give that a try tomorrow. Appreciate it!
Quoted from pinden007:Do you have a link to that kit?
Looks like this one from Little shop of games does the same thing
I've had my premium about 2 weeks now - February 7 build date. The Scolari brothers seemed to drop perfectly at first, but after installing cliffys, direct hard hits just bounce off them. In-direct or shots hitting the edges drop them every time, so I'm thinking the cliffys require tightening the springs even on newer games since they give the targets less room to move.
Quoted from pinden007:Do the cliffys affect the right lane shot? With my drop target sitting slighting above the pf, it was enough to pop the ball up just enough so that not all shots were clean to the right lane and I got a few roll backs and odd hits with the gate.
They might be - I get the same thing & that shot should be the easiest!
