Quoted from cpr9999:

Just made another run. Left side ramp and right side orbit protectors.
Shipping on Friday, let me know.

Picked this up from cpr9999 and it has totally solved all of my airball issues... I couldn't possibly be more happy with their performance and if you're having airball issues like I was, you can't go wrong with this set. Super fast shipping as well.

Thanks,
Jeff

I didn't see anything when I searched the thread but does anyone else here have instances where the storage facility ramp misses a ball that comes up and down the rail? Every so often I'll hit a ball up the ramp and it doesn't seem to trigger the sensor so the ball isn't captured like it should be with the storage facility insert lit. From looking at it in super slow mo, there seems to be certain angles/speeds where the ball rides up a bit on the rail opposite the switch and either just misses it or only contacts it just barely which isn't enough to trigger the switch. My thoughts are to bend the switch out slightly but wanted to ask before I touched it, also looked at adding a very small piece of felt to the end of the switch to make it stick out more without bending it.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jeff

Quoted from Exeter:

Jeff,
Do you have a pro? Are you hitting the right or left ramp? I had an issue on my Pro only a few games out of the box where the screws that hold the roll over switch’s weren’t tightened down. The ball would roll over and not engage the switch so I tightened them down and no more issues.

Premium, thanks for the screw check idea. I’ll take a look.

Thanks,
Jeff

So I put in the LCD ColorDMD into my GB and it's freaking awesome... My question is, has anyone put any foam around the opening to cover the gap between the screen and the plexiglass? I don't like being able to see through the side but wasn't sure if that would damage the LCD screen on the ColorDMD so wanted to ask first... Secondly, when I first setup my machine my slimer was rubbing against the city model so I adjusted it so that wouldn't happen but it did affect how I can hit slimer for it to register so I was just curious if anyone else's slimer was hitting the city model and if so did you adjust it not to or was I being overly paranoid with a wear point?

Thanks,
Jeff

Quoted from Lamprey:

There is a gasket for the LCD version. I think ColorDMD has them or you can get them here:

Face palm... Can't believe I missed that... THANK YOU!!!

Quoted from Budman:

I did too so just ordered one. When I first installed mine I emailed ColorDMD to ask if there should be a gap. They acted clueless and never suggested the gasket.

Yeah given the shipping cost and everything, I'm going to try to make my own out of foam weatherstripping before I pay that much for the gasket... It's not that I think the gasket itself is overpriced but since I can't combine shipping now it's the shipping cost that hurts... If I can't figure it out after a trip to Lowes then okay fine, I'll spring for it...
