Quoted from cocomonkeh:
Scare feature is great until you're alone in the dark when it's foggy out.
the screaming is awesome! I like the way the face melts! to the bone!
Quoted from Who-Dey:
That's no sh*t man, I can't believe how quick the leg bolts come loose on pinball machines. As far as the shaker motor goes, I turned mine down on medium on Ghostbusters because it was shaking way too hard at times. Medium actually feels right also, feels like that should be the default setting.
try adding 3/8" nuts to the bolts on inside of cab this will keep them tight double nut!
i hate when the ball hits the inner lanes dividing rail and goes in the out lane as if it was sucked in with a magnet! DRAIN.
Quoted from Allibaster:
Agreed. I never know when they switch. Hopefully, they add a louder more noticeable sound in an update.
look at the play field lights. when 100 is lit mass hysteria hits. "switch those hands". you get number of ghost caught pops up on display leading up to it.
Quoted from cnuts13:
Hahaha. i had no idea. Once i drained in about 5 seconds, they were fine
did you get midnight madness yet? ( if not adjust your time so midnight is at a time that you usually play. i have mine set that 10:00pm is midnight so if i have guests over they get the experience!) enjoy!
Quoted from scarybeard:
just replaced the 3 red LEDs on the back of the playfield with purple, and the stacked books red captive ball light with green. Game looks so much better. more 'night time-y'. Pics don't do it justice. Try it out.
try red or blue in place of the two white bulbs.
Quoted from Spelunk71:
I agree it looks cool, but can be a bit of a pain with all the airballs. They have an annoying tendency to get stuck in the middle. The flying balls also broke off some of the plastic edges on mine. Even though I have the ramp airball plastic and added foam to the standup targets to reduce airballs, I removed the mod.
haven't had this happen yet! crossing my fingers.
Quoted from pinden007:
The inside diameter is not big enough for the posts on the smaller sizes. That's the issue I was running into with the PL ones - none of them fitted properly.
I cut them to put them on and it leaves a gap around the post. I can turn them so the gap is in the back and they seem to function properly, it's just not a glove fit.
Quoted from cscmtp:
So is there any way to stop the ball from going SDTM between the 2 flippers when it comes off the bumpers? I don't have that much issue with the losing the balls on the left or right side of the slingshots, but man it goes straight down the middle waaaaaaaaaaaay to often. I love the game but its frustrating as heck!
body English !
Quoted from yzfguy:
Wow, this is my first spike game, and I had no idea about the complications for colors dmd...... I usually buy a game and wait for it to be colorized but I am bummed to see that this may end up being my only dmd game without. Boo!
I am sure Boob will intermittently slide filters in front of your DMD while you play.
Quoted from golfingdad1:
Nope , i did mean the lights in the slings. Not the triangles. I think those triangles are on a board so no changing.
The reason why I asked was because when I play my pins next GB the sling lights hit me right in the eyes., and there BRIGHT.
you can also color the stock bulbs with a sharpie color of choice should take the glare off and tint the area. if you don't like it remove it with alcohol wipe.
Quoted from chucksmith:
Its a zip tie with a plastic spacer (with a slot in its center). The device includes a zip tie but the set will prevent the diode from moving forward or backward on its spindly legs.
The leads of the D9 diode have physically broken due to the extensive amount of vibration (shaker motor?) that
occurs on the playfield. The D9 diode had 2 thin leads compared to the 3 thicker leads that are
on transistors located on the node board.
how long is the spacer? ill just make one out of tube stock. got plenty of zip ties.
Quoted from toddsolus:
I was thinking that a good way to solve the SDTM problem on GB is to turn the magna-slings into magna- save Would there be anyway, through software, to activate the magnaslings on demand? possible a double tap of either flipper button?...I imagine that this is probably not possible without a hardware reconfig.....but it would be an interesting mod, if nothing else.
use lock bar button to activate both slings to magna save . spell ghost to activate .
Quoted from Lermods:
Have a chance to pick up a gble. Anyone know what a stock game huo is going for these days? What were the main benefits of the LE over the premium? Have these pretty much depreciated or are these still declining in price. I'm working a trade for one of my games and not sure how long I will keep the game.
The LE is a great looking game. That being said I am very happy with my pro.
GL with your trade.
Quoted from Lermods:
I picked up a gble in trade for my woz yesterday, nice game, plays well except for air balls. Tiny bit of ghosting on the Tobin insert, but rest looks perfect. My wife and I were playing it last night, very fun game. Any recommendations on where to get an air ball protector for the left side? Thx
little shop of games reach out to marshall.
Quoted from Who-Dey:
Ive also heard that these really work good also. Im going to order a set soon and see if i can do away with the airball protectors.
looks like you could wedge the original bracket to achieve the desired angle.
i like the protectors. gives game some character. I have the etched one on my pro and i put etched one from premium on the "ecto " lane cause i like the look.

Looks cool... not seeing $200. Cool though
Quoted from SheriffBarclay:
Biased crowd here, but close to snapping one of these up as my only pin. I'm an average player. How frustrating will this pin be with the stock flippers and no center post?
Also, is there any realistic chance of code actually being finished?
I know your game well, I helped unbox it and bullit proofed the kickout switch . You got a great deal on a great game! Enjoy
Most likely not
But the noise is enough to make you cringe!
Time to add that topper!
Quoted from Utesichiban:
GB is a game where the Premium is worth the extra money. If you can afford the Premium, it is the same game, just a lot of worthwhile extras.
Not seeing worth while extras.
Not a fan of magnet slings
Ecto goggles are cool but not enough to justify the price difference
The pro offers the same game play
Pro cab nicer looking than premium.
Virtual ball loc is just fine with me.
And up and down slimer is all I need.
T moulding . Com
And cointaker for speaker lights and backbox slime
Thanks looks better in person.
The uv from the t moulding lights up the dr dude playfield too!
Quoted from mbelofsky:I love my GB Prem. Bought it NIB. I never really know what ball I am on. But I enjoy the game so much that I really don’t care.
When multiball starts and the game goes into Mass Hysteria mode, I don’t always know when it happens. Is there a sound or something I am missing? Sometimes I see it on the display but usually not looking. It also appears that the flippers switch back and forth so I am constantly loosing balls.
Is this just me or is this something that new code may fix? I like the code as is. But will appreciate new code when provided.
mike its hard to hear so just keep practicing switching your hands!
Quoted from PanzerFreak:
Yeah, even better! If Dwight is concerned about the effects occurring too often there could be a setting for it in the menu. Have how it is today as the default setting and then also have a another setting that enables more effects. Probably too late for anything new to be added at this point but hopefully something topper related is in the update.
The topper defiantly needs more interaction! I purchased my topper from my good buddy Marshall @ little shop of games, shortly after purchasing my NIB pro. It is an expensive investment into the game! I really like the topper just would like to enjoy it more throughout game play. heres hoping that beacon rocks with new code!
