Quoted from oradke:Alright, I'm officially in! GBpro arrived today. Just installed the shaker, ColorDMD next week.
Awesome! I got mine a few weeks ago. The game is brutal but lots of fun.

Anyone else ever have an issue with the roll over in the right orbit not registering when you hit the shot too clean? I can get it to register from a backhand but it I hit the shot hard from the left flipper it doesn’t activate the switch. I’ve tried adjusting the switch but no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Quoted from Who-Dey:There is a piece of mylar that they put down in the orbit before the switch that makes the ball jump over the switch, peel that up and it will register everytime.
Ah ha. Thank you for the help.
Quoted from Pinkitten:I'm new to the club, but I've owned my Ghostbusters premium since August, 2017. It was only our second pin we ever bought. We had issues right out of the box, but Stern replaced some parts and it's been a champ since. Airball guards, a center post (I may remove that soon) and other mods were essential to getting our game to play right. Once dialed in, it's been a favorite pin of mine since we got it. It can be very difficult, but I don't agree with many critics who say it's unfair or a drain monster. I don't feel that way. There are many shots to make, and the code isn't that difficult to understand. With a color DMD and new code I hear is coming soon, GB is a keeper for us.
GB is a great game and I love mine... but the design is a bit unfair. The flipper gap is one thing but those metal out lanes are a joke. I can’t imagine how they decided on that final design with all the lane hopping the metal brackets causes. I shouldn’t have to invest another $100 plus to make the game “fair”. Designed to just eat quarters I guess
Quoted from jeffro01:I didn't see anything when I searched the thread but does anyone else here have instances where the storage facility ramp misses a ball that comes up and down the rail? Every so often I'll hit a ball up the ramp and it doesn't seem to trigger the sensor so the ball isn't captured like it should be with the storage facility insert lit. From looking at it in super slow mo, there seems to be certain angles/speeds where the ball rides up a bit on the rail opposite the switch and either just misses it or only contacts it just barely which isn't enough to trigger the switch. My thoughts are to bend the switch out slightly but wanted to ask before I touched it, also looked at adding a very small piece of felt to the end of the switch to make it stick out more without bending it.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jeff
Jeff,
Do you have a pro? Are you hitting the right or left ramp? I had an issue on my Pro only a few games out of the box where the screws that hold the roll over switch’s weren’t tightened down. The ball would roll over and not engage the switch so I tightened them down and no more issues.
