Could someone please explain feature adjustment 19. Thanks!

I just noticed there is not safety cutoff switch when I open my coin door. Is it supposed to be there on a premium LE?

A ratchet and socket, nut driver, or wrench.

Quoted from billrz:

It’s not that. The drive belt is on, it’s extremely tight as well. Thank you fir reply tho

I think there is an Allen screw in the hole that may have come loose

#8613 3 years ago

If that doesn’t work there is another Allen screw below the play field

I’ll check my mechanism when I get home and see if I can figure something out.

#8616 3 years ago

Check that the two bolts in the picture are tight. And there are Allen screws on both of the rods. One on each side of the belt. If I try to twist my rod it has less than a 1/2” of movement. So make sure everything that can be adjusted is snug.

Awesome! Glad to hear it!

Quoted from StavrosMilos:

Hey all. Having an issue with my left drop target. I installed some cliffys. Love them. But now when I shoot the ball toward the ramp it literally jumps off the cliffy and OVER the ramp. Is there a way to adjust the height of the left scoleri to make it more level with the PF?

There Is a screw on the bottom of the target. You will need to lift the playfield. Tightening the screw pushes it up, loosening lowers.

#8630 3 years ago
Quoted from Karl_Hungus:

Same issue. I lowered the target and thought it worked, but the airballs are just as bad. Interesting it is only the left side too but I don't have as many straight on shots to the right target. I'll be interested to see if you have any luck.

If you can post A picture of the left drop target with the cliffy installed it might be helpful. Thanks!

#8640 3 years ago
Quoted from Karl_Hungus:

[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

The cliffy looks raised on the edges. You could remove it and give it a slight bend to make sure it’s straight. But If it’s not there to hide any chipping or damage I would just remove it and protect with Mylar.

The led has dots only. The LCD has multiple modes including big dots and small dots. You can change the mode as often as you want.

Quoted from Rager170:

Was there ever a definitive fix for the airballs coming from the multiplier targets for this machine? I feel like ive tried everything but still get them...

the brackets liked below eliminated 90% of airballs for me

Quoted from Psw757:

I have the brackets too and didn’t make much difference.

Wow - I was able to take my protector off.

Looking for some help.. Took the glass off my premium.. and noticed this post just behind the slimer mech.. I feel like something should be here but I'm not sure.. Anyone know?

Nothing goes there. That is correct

I've been looking for one for a long time too.
Not much out there unless you buy a game with one lol

Quoted from orlandu81:

I'll be the outlier here, I love the Premium. The magna slings and the randomness mentioned is KEY to this game to me, as ghosts are haunting it, right? The LCD screen with the projected ghost hologram that explodes is super cool, and everyone who plays mine raves about the moving slimer target.
I love the randomness in the Premium, and wouldn't trade the premium features out, they are too important to me.
Nothing against a Pro model! The key to this game is the theme overall, and you get that with all of the models.

The only negatives on the premium are the ramps. The are just off and mess with the flow. But the magna slings moving slimer and ecto goggles make up for the ramps. Slight edge to the premium

Quoted from swinks:

2 ways to approach the airball issue:
- use guards which are restricting / limit the airballs - a few versions of that around - cpr9999
- or replace the target brackets as lifting up and tilting forward removes 95% of the airballs
https://www.shapeways.com/product/GRBNG4DQK/stern-target-bracket-v2-5deg2mm?optionId=63971960&li=marketplace
That said curious on your light up city - that was on my radar to do as well but busy on some other things at the moment

I had the brackets from shapeways on mine. Stopped over 90% of air balls and kept the factory look of the game.

#9504 2 years ago
Quoted from R_Coles:

I also just installed these, well worth it, havent had an airball yet.

I had them in my machine for 6 months before I sold the game. I had an air ball here and there but no more than any other game. Defiantly a must have for any GB.

Quoted from TheCnyPinGuy:

Still trying to locate
Black proton Side Armor for my Pro
Message me if you know a supplier that maybe has a set
Thank you

There are still a few sets of the green ones around, you could get those and paint them black

#9564 2 years ago
Quoted from gdonovan:

I think I have only experienced one airball so far.

maybe the prior owner already did the airball preventing target brackets

The LCD Color DMD is blurry on GB. You can set it to large dots or small dots to get rid of the blur

#9641 2 years ago
Quoted from eyeamred2u:

Just picked up a GB Pro, was working 100% just before delivery to me. The wire fell off a lug on a microswitch on left scoop, now it is not working. Before I go and troubleshoot, I want to ask the group if this look correct. Appears someone used crimp connectors, instead of soldering the wires and added and additional lugs, which is strange. Here is my reference pictures. Added a top side picture of the switch, which looks broken.

Order a new switch - if you want to play in the mean time you can try to solder the wire directly to where the leg broke off.

#9651 2 years ago
Quoted from eyeamred2u:

What I need is a picture of the wiring to the switch. I want to confirm the connections will be correct before I solder in the new switch.
The current switch is bad, already tested it. I still haven't mastered reading Sterns manuals yet to fully figure out their logic for wiring to switches. I understand it to the connectors. Seems like they change it for Node identification.

Green wire is in the center and black goes where your post broke off (back of the switch) assuming you bought the same switch.
