LE # 264 arrived today in Melbourne - Australia.
Build date 23 May and I've had it set up for a few hrs now.

A couple of dozen games in (did I mention I can't play for shit?) and I'm really impressed.
The "city under glass" is a really good way to describe how much detail is in there once you start looking for it.
Manga slings rock, it's a totally different feel to slings (no shit Sherlock) as they just move the ball around without even a slight vibration.
When the ball is heading toward the slings you are expecting the feel, sound and vibrational feedback of the kicker firing and there's just nothing.
The ball hits, there's a wicked sound effect and the ball fires off in a random direction.
It's unusual but really cool.
Ecto goggles are cool and fun to "blow up" the "ghost in the machine" (shout out to all the Police fans out there).
Ramps great, sound great, dots also great.
My Little Slimer is fully registering any and all hits and he only looks a little ungainly heading back to his resting posi above the city managing to smack into 2 or 3 edges of various buildings on the way...

So there you go a clearly biased quick review from a self confessed crap pinball player.
You're welcome

Quoted from Fortytwo:

Thanks, im on the list for a premium, how do the drop targets drop? Any other issues we should be ready for?

I can report that the drop targets on my GBLE are hair trigger smooth when touched with the glass off

We got one today

I see what you did there

Quoted from pninja005:

Don't the Prem/LE have the Hotwheels ecto 1 factory installed?

Negatory.

Personal opinion, but I reckon a shaker is a must have on this game.
Adds another dimension to the gameplay.

Quoted from Arcade:

They are in there tight. Just keep knocking on them, they will move.
If you think those are hard to tap up, try doing the outlane posts that are adjustable.

Totally, what the heck is up with that?!
Adjustable outlane posts shouldn't need a hole punch and a hammer to change the position.

Quoted from embryon:

Took me forever. I used a open ended spanner with 1/8 at best turns to unscrew the rhs one. What it taught me was that I have a lot of patience otherwise it would have turned me into a serial killer.

You must have the patience of a saint, I took a few goes at it and I wanted to climb a clocktower with an Uzi!!

Quoted from MustangPaul:

Nice mods going on there. My Leg Light-Ups look great on all 3 GB's, I have red on mine with Beatmasters red shooter light up. It's not a boring unlit front of the cab anymore.

100% plus for Paul's Leg Light ups, I have the green on the front and I had comments on NYE with friends over who all thought they looked great and came from the factory like that

Good call, great set.
Cliff does excellent work.

Community announcement:
Did you know the "Cliffys" on your GB are not Cliffys at all?
Stern stole his designs for the VUKs on GB and the shooter lane protectors on BM66.
Boo, I say.
Down with the man!!

Quoted from Vino:

Took a deep breath and finally knuckled up to install side art by removing the playfield.
First time doing it, and the only way to do it IMHO.
Not typically a big mod guy, but man do they really complete the game without committing too much scratch!!!
Highly recommended.

I totally agree mate, they look ace! (Do the kids still say ace any more?).
I just sold my LE to a friend and when we swapped out the playfields (more ghosting than The Exorcist) we put in the side blades and they really bring the art from the playfield up the sides of the cabinet.
Very cool mod
