I have 4 new in box Sterns now. They all went through this process.
They look very dimpled after about 20 to 50 plays then it starts getting less and less noticeable.

Love the captive ball that toggles the reversed flippers.
Also the broken flipper fix as well as the 3X Jackpots.
This game is coming along fast.

It gives you the option to put them back to normal during Mass Hysteria

It just says "captive ball" so I would guess just the center captive ball will effect this mode.

Slimer registers everything. A shot up through the pops that comes back down will trigger him twice even. So much nicer this way.
Lots of cool 1.05 changes which are probably discussed in one of the other threads.

I have not seen any post about the 1.05 changes.
Can you list some?

Wackybrake. It looks like your standup target is leaning a bit to the left on your ramp.
The spinner shot is tight enough already without anything blocking it.

You don't have to remove the ramp.
Just take out the screw on the end where the ball drops.
It will allow you to raise the ramp enough to move the post.

New:
- Added a new video mode called Don't Cross the Streams. You now may choose
between "Negative Reinforcement" or "Don't Cross the Streams".
- Added Scare Feature adjustment
- Added TIME OUT MODES Adjustment; When a mode times out it will not require
the player to restart it. It will not relight modes.
- Added MODE CONTINUE Adjustment; If you drain while a mode is running
it will continue on the next ball.

Fixes:
- Loopin Supers was making the wrong speech call if you had 3X
Super lit before you started it. All Loopin Super awards
are 1X Super Jackpots.
- Eddy Murphy was spelled incorrectly.
- Ad-Libbed was spelled incorrectly.
- Shaker Motor Adjustment was not turning the shaker motor off when required.
- When you complete all nine modes the modes will all unlight now so you can
play them all again.

Tweaks:
- Changed the sound of a couple timer sounds
- Tweaked instant info
- Changed GHOST letters to always reset to one shot away before bringing out
Slimer on MEDIUM or EASY. Changed HARD to be less hard.
- All multiballs now light Add-a-ball at their start.
- Changed Skill shot for top lane P from +5X to +3X
- Changed dozens of speech calls to be a bit brighter.
- Tweaked the colors of modes and features
- Severely reduced how much the Gozer the Gozerian mode increases the Super
Jackpot Value
- Made Slimer less sensitive when he first begins to decend.
- Increased the max ball save time from 15 seconds to 60 seconds
- Delayed Ball Search at end of modes when needed.

They are in there tight. Just keep knocking on them, they will move.
If you think those are hard to tap up, try doing the outlane posts that are adjustable.

Check out Comet pinball.
They have little 3, 5, and 7 strip LED strips that stick on the apron. You can get them with alligator clips to run to any GI bulb and presto, instant lights on your flipper area.

Is there a way to earn 2X and 3X playfield? Or do you only get these through random Tobins and pop bumper awards.
Seems like the game would be more fun if you could earn this through skill and not random luck.

Not sure. will have to look at the captive ball. If so that is great.
The K is nice to know about. Still wish there were a series of shots, maybe like the gear targets that would award this during a ball so you would not have to rely on the luck of Tobins.

From the latest Stern of the Union on code.

"Aerosmith – Work continues on the next Aerosmith update and it’s taking longer than anticipated with internal development, testing, and trying to make a great game even better! Our goal is to release this by the end of next month. We still have KISS updates following Aerosmith which will be followed by a Ghostbusters update."

So no Aerosmith until end of Sept. then KISS, Then GB.
Will probably be 2019 before GB gets any love.

Anyone else as pissed off as I am at the way Dwight is treating this game.
Here is a clip from TWIP of an interview Dwight did last week on Head 2 Head.
To me he comes across as not giving a crap.
Says the Librarian insert may get “its own little rule” but just because of all the fuss we made. Not because he thinks it could make the game more fun.
Then he goes on to say he still considers the game “done”. And that “Are you a God” Wizard mode should have never been printed on the instruction card. WTF!!!!
In fact the only thing I agree with him on is that Loopin Supers should be its own mode with no interruptions.
Highly disappointed.

Dwight Sullivan joined Marty and Ryan at the Head 2 Head Pinball Podcast last week to talk all things Munsters! Along with discussing Munsters, they also had this conversation regarding Ghostbusters Pinball:

H2H: What are your thoughts on where the code is?
Dwight: So you’re asking me what I think should be fixed on Ghostbusters?

H2H: Yes, without having to tell us what has been fixed because you can’t…I guess what I’m really asking is do you think it is a monumental task ahead of you?
Dwight: No it is not monumental…but every code takes much longer than you think, even the simplest thing is usually a few days of work. So Ghostbusters, what I would like to see is…one of the highest things on my list is…I think the game is too messy. I think that when you’re playing it and you’re working your way up that center ladder of ghosts that you have collected, too many things are stacking on top of each and it is just a big hot mess. I would like to see looping supers never stacked with anything else…I have ideas of how I would fix this, and I have to actually get there and fix it. I want that [looping supers] to be kind of a moment.

H2H: The Librarian insert at the scoop – is that something that is on the to-do list?
Dwight: Now it is. The library insert was never designed to be a feature or a mode or it’s own little rule, it was only supposed to be an indicator of – “hey, shoot here” because you’re playing a librarian mode. And sure it is under used, I agree, but it was never ever meant to be a feature, never meant to be much more than it is right now. But now it has become a thing, so it will probably get its own little rule.

H2H: So [the possible wizard mode Are you a God] was on the instruction card…
Dwight: That was never meant to be part of 1.0…Ghostbusters is messy and I wish I could clean that up and there are some bugs, and of course I would love to fix bugs, and I will as soon as I can. I think We Came We Saw We Kicked its Ass could be a little more polished…it should be worth more and could be a little more interesting. But I think Ghostbusters is “complete”, if it wasn’t buggy and wasn’t messy we could call it done. Are You a God is a wizard mode that I thought about, and I put it on the instruction card and that was a huge mistake…it didn’t have a design…it was kind of flavor text on the instruction card. We could do that someday, but it never happened and I don’t know if it will.

After listening to Dwight yesterday I am again excited for this game.
Super nice changes on GoT and GB is supposed to be even larger.
