Can I get a copy of an airball template please? Since the update I really need one for my pro now. Just post it as a reply to this message if possible. Thanks!

anyone complete all ladders and played the next wizard. I got to one shot away and sdtm. Is there more graphics for this mode and if so is it good?

Do all Ghostbusters not have the switch inside the door that lets the machine know that its opened?
Mine does not have it. Here is a pic of my Kiss with the switch I'm talking about.

cost reduction

this is what innovation is called at stern

#1805 7 years ago

So none have that switch?

#1806 7 years ago
Quoted from finnflash:

My GOT and My GB are missing it. They do not have high voltage under the playfield to disable anymore is what I was told.

#1807 7 years ago

Ok, i was hoping it wasn't forgotten.

I'm in!

Got my LE back yesterday! There was hidden shipping damage when I first got it. The box didn't have overly obvious damage, just a little pushed in, but the bottom of the cabinet at the back was all busted in. Hats off to both my distributor and to Stern. Game got shipped back to Stern and made right.

Embarrassing question: what am I supposed to be doing during "Gozer the Gozerian?"

I can't seem to figure that one out.

Looks awesome....congrats!

#1814 7 years ago
Quoted from MustangPaul:

Got my Candy Raspberry coated armor today and the color looks great on the game. But I need to find another coater cuz one part of a leg didn't turn out well and the coater said "there's nothing I can do about it, it's a flaw in the metal or something, I can redo it but I can't guarantee it will turn out better, there's no money in this kind of job for me so I don't want any more of your business". So I payed them their $300 for my parts and got the fuck out. Any one local DO NOT go to Twin City Powder Coating.

Looks nice anyway I could talk you in to posting a pic of the sides

#1815 7 years ago

I would love to get one of those nice slimmer back glasses!

Nice!!! Just a warning Capt Neo is going to come unhinged on you for putting those pin cab protectors on

I'll try but my camera isn't very good. here's one I have at the moment with 4 of my red Leg Light-Ups on it. The pc raspberry matches the sky of the Stern art blades perfectly.

Guys and Gals, with the new 1.10 code I can't seem to find the manga sling power adjustment. Where is it?

I am glad I wasn't crazy but it is strange that they removed it. Maybe there were issues with it.

Thank you sir! I'll get myself another TWDLE one day. I do miss that game a lot. It's sad as hell that I had to get rid of it.

#1831 7 years ago

Maybe the white part of the plastic is Stern's "fix" to stop the game from shorting out.

See TNT's video:

#1832 7 years ago

Thanks for the video link Trekkie. I checked out my LE#470. It does not have that white plastic there. The leads on the flasher do have a piece of tape covering them up. Do you all think that is sufficient protection?

Edit: I thought about it a few more minutes and decided it would be safest to go ahead and install a piece of double sided tape there, as Todd did in the video. Better safe than sorry!

Yup I just did that to my Pro, nothing was covering it. better safe then sorry. Thanks much Trekkie for the link.

Anyone know what this white box is? Appears to be a magnetic shield but seems unusual that it's just dangling there off the wires and not particularly shielding anything as far as I can tell? Is it secured to anything normally?

This is in the back box on node 0 I believe it's called. Thanks!

Those are put there to help stop radio interference. Several styles and varieties exist and it's typical for them to just be snapped around wires and left dangling. You don't want to secure them to anything metal since it could transmit interference from the other metal.

Finally got mine today (money down in March). I've added Protectors and some mods.

I couldn't be happier. The playfield is gorgeous and it's just s blast to play.

Congrats, but I'd put that hammer away asap. The game can be very frustrating in the beginning and you may be tempted to use the hammer on it lol. In fact its still frustrating at times and I've had mine since August

A bit premature as we just tore up the carpets for wood (messy), but I thought some may get a kick out of the Vigo wall I'm making for GB (WIP). He's behind the faux brick and the framing adds to the appearance of depth. I assume most would think this is a crazy thing to do in their house :p (perhaps not on this forum ). Interestingly enough, I initially got the Vigo print years before a GB pin was announced (thought I'd have it in a theater room, but never installed it). Never thought it would end up near a pin (I wasn't even into the hobby at the time :p ). Yet, it's a welcome turn of events

Yeah it didn't stay out long. Love the game. Had to use the hammer to pound up the outside rails a bit (used a punch too) and had to use it to pound in the carriage bolts into the upgraded side armor. The holes were just round and not square holes for the carriage bolts.
