That's the avenue I would be taking for a much faster resolution were I so inclined rather than waiting around for a vague statement from the manufacturer.

In the late 1970's, Bally created a "Consumer Products Division" When those Bally Professional Arcade video games started failing, the division was quickly eliminated as the Consumer Protection Laws came into play and Bally never experienced having to refund purchase prices in full before. And they never did again.
Same with the "Professional Home Model" Pinball Machines.
