This is a concept I came up with for the new Ghostbusters pinball machine. As we all know , the game is fast and the ball tends to hop the outlane metal ball guide , resulting in a frustrating drain. These fluorescent plastic protectors are cut from thick green acrylic. They mount on three screw holes and hover over the outlanes keeping the ball where it should go, without jumping the ball guides. The led lights under them give them a nice green glow as well as protecting the stock plastics from chipping from ball strikes. The dripping slime design goes well with the overall art package and blend in nicely. These can be made in fluorescent green or clear. They go great with the matching gameblades we also offer. These and other exciting GB mods can be found at www.modfatherpinball.com

#6 7 years ago

Nice! looks good
When I read the title of this thread I thought " Finally someone is going to do green slime dripping down metal side rails and hinges." -Someone needs to step up for trim

Will these work on LE/Prem? Or just Pro?

I can cut these from fluorescent green or clear at the time. Do people want purple ? I don't know, maybe. The slime is green on the gameblades and represented green throughout the game. Do I think the purple will look good ? Hell Yeah ! Can I cut from purple , prolly. Do I ask myself questions...........sometimes

Here are some better pics. I like how the end of the slimer rail covers a little of the base of the flipper.

If they don't work on a Prem/LE, they can be pink polka-dot for all I care! lol Have you tried them with anything outside of a Pro?

#13 7 years ago

Looks like the one i bought from PL,except,no center floating post, with green super band on it!

Haha....funny!! These are cool......the name doesn't seem to fit though. They aren't really "rails"....more like protectors. Or deflectors.

Wanting to know if these will fit an LE as well? Nice work. Look forward to seeing it in purple as well.

Can you make clear ones without the slime effect?

Looking at the pics it's hard to tell
If they would work on a LE by how the right ramp feeds the left inlane.

I can make these in different fluorescent colors now. It ball eliminates the ball hopping the inlane ball guides. Not one since I installed them on my game.

I now have these available for Premium and LE versions, as well as neon green, magenta and clear colors. Visit us at www.modfatherpinball.com for details...

Why not use the Premium version for the Pro?

#23 7 years ago

Ordered mine yesterday..excited to try them out.

The pro design was developed first when I got my game. My buddy got his LE a little later and I developed these with the notch out for the return ramp on the premium models. I just kept both designs for people to choose from. If you want to put the premium slimer rails on the pro , it will work. But not the other way around.
