Hey everyone!

So basically I disassembled a Ghostbuster pro for cleaning and maintenance. Since reassembly, every time the ball gets kicked out the right eject (called subway eject in the adjustment menu), the ball hops and falls hard on the playfield.

Before disassembly, the ball would slide normally on the playfield straight into the left flipper.

The weird thing is that during disassembly I found the coil responsible for the right eject to be unscrewed a bit, just enough to be angled differently.
This leads me to believe that it is an angle issue and not a power issue.

Furthermore, I cannot find that specific tilted ejector assembly in the manual.

Any ideas?

Is the scoop area worn where the actual ball sits? This would cause a mis hit situation from the plunger. You could always bend the bracket or buy a cliffy set to help the ball sit in that area cleanly every time.

It is pretty worn, see attached picture.

Think this might be it or not work enough?

I don’t have a pro, but I know the le/premium has a setting to adjust the coil power.

Buy a Cliffy kit for that area to solve ball moving around or else that area will get worse. Turning the coil power down is a temporary solution.
