The premium looks incredible. The slimer mech on the premium has an an ever wider range of motion then I thought it could and can move all the way from over the pops to the left captive ball shot. Ecto Goggles toy needs to be seen in person but just from the videos I saw it looks slick. Crossover ramp adds a lot of flow to the game and shot variety. Subway ramp with ball lock is sweet. The magnetic slings also look very cool.

Ghostbusters premium / LE is easily Stern's most loaded game to date and now it has the potential to be one of their best.

Quoted from Manic:

I guess I don't get this "loaded" stuff. With the pro I see a game with the usual bash toy, a dubious right ramp and... oh two stand-ups.
I KNOW I must be missing something but that doesn't seem like a lot of stuff. And the high dollar ones simply switch out one kind of slings for another (which seem cool - at least at first), an actual ball lock (hardly rare) and the holo lens (which is small and hardly a show stopper). The crossover ramp seems like an afterthought that won't see much use.
I think the art and music alone will sell it to a rabid GB nut... (and who would think there were so many?) but anybody less invested in the theme might want to actually play it first. It may not be for everybody. (gasp)
In any case I'm certainly looking forward to finding one locally to try out.

Wow, you are undermining both versions of the game. Very negative. There's so much more to both then what you mentioned. The premium is easily Sterns most loaded game to date.

So why did that bum you out? I thought it was cool that it moved all over the place and made it harder to hit.
I really liked what I saw last night. The game didn't seem to have any bad shots, the gameplay seemed very fun and the sounds were incredible. Cannot wait to play one near me. Might have to add it to the stable at some point.

Yup, much rather have Slimer move to what appears to be up to 5 possible shots (can go all the way over to left captive ball) versus just moving up and down. It can also just slightly move left and right.

Quoted from Propaganda:

You have to say it like Panzer...
Interactive Garage Door, with ramp leading to VUK, launching to upper playfield, with interactive multicolor dot matrix TV, with timer and messages to lead the player, and upper playfield ramp leading into the physical 3 ball locking Couch....
Interactive Bart Simpson captive ball on fully moving Skateboard etc....
If you did this for the whole game it would blow your mind.

Lol. Better then just saying "it has a ball lock". TSPP has one heck of a cool ball lock mech. See I couldn't say something that like that for the ball locks in WOZ, GOT, or LOTR, lol.

A big update was just released today for GOT, so I don't think you have to worry about that. I actually had the same concern about GOT, but the hits keep coming.

Big code update for GOT? 1.29 looks to have added only two minor things.

Quoted from DaveH:

The two releases before that were not public. So it is a combination of 1.27, 1.28, and 1.29. More than two minor things. Plus I am still running 1.22, so I'm looking forward to this one.

Ah ok, I didn't know that. Good to hear.

I'm looking forward to playing it but honestly, a tad bummed watching the video. I may be wrong but I did not hear quotes from the actual movie. I hope I'm dead wrong. There are so many great lines from the movie and hearing Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, and the other cast of characters is what pulls this license together in a pin.
Iron Man, Star Trek, Spiderman (non Vault) - all come together as awesome total immersive experiences. If you're gonna do a movie based pin, do it right and get the real actors voices. I know Ernie is doing the call outs but clips from movie is what helps make it epic.

Theres currently a lot of call outs from the original film in the game.

I hope Sterns adds even more!

I hope Dwight adds even more original callouts to the game. For example it would be cool to hear Bill Murrays "cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria" line in Mass Hysteria multiball. Hopefully there are some more Gozer lines added to the game as well. Also, I don't recall hearing any Dana Barrett lines either. The game has a lot of callouts already in it but could certainly use a few more.
