We just held a tournament in Des Moines with a brand-new Ghostbusters. While testing the machine before the tourney started, I hit Slimer and he flew off of the wire... Luckily our tournament organizer could jerry-rig a way to get him back on there. It only had about 10 total plays before Slimer took that flight. I hope nobody else has this issue! It was also shooting straight down the middle out of the left scoop, however that could probably be an easy fix.

I have a Pro on order and am still pumped to get mine, but it was kinda scary seeing Slimer take a dive since he is built to take hundred of hits a day at the arcade.

Am I crazy, or did you post this exact thing earlier?

I posted it in another Ghostbuster's thread before I found this one.

I know I am not adding much to the conversation, but here is what I've experienced on my GB Pro. Those Scoleri Bros. do not drop with a solid hit and often throw the ball over the flippers. My brother calls it the "Scoleri Screwjob". I like the advice of backhanding. I will try that.
Some people mentioned a dirty feed through the spinner. This happens rarely, but it is almost always SDTM.
Finally, I just don't feel right about the left scoop kickout. It never shoots SDTM, but lands unpredictably on/near the tip of the right flipper which prevents most forms of ball control. Our local operator took his kickout power down to 20 so it dribbles out to the left flipper. It works nicely, but I just don't feel right about doing it on my home machine.

Anyone with a Pro have this issue? I am getting tech alerts for through 2-5. It doesn't affect the game in any capacity, but I wasn't sure if this was a bug in the code.

Quoted from Meph:

I personally don't have an issue with the flipper gap but I think it was a bad choice for this theme.

I completely agree. A universally beloved theme should be more accessible during this pinball resurgence. The gap may be better served on a more niche theme, like GOT. (I know that the gap is JT's style and certainly not Steve's, but I am only talking theme).

Ran into this problem this morning. On the new code, I was having my best game so far on my Pro. When I reached Stay Puft I hit the left ramp. As soon as I did that, the DMD said "RESTARTING GAME…" I thought this was the new scare feature and prepared for my machine to scream at me. No scream...just game over. Anybody else come across this?
