I must have missd a post somewhere . So, what's the deal on this? Is this a one off or will it be mass produced? If the later, when will the whens and how muchs be announced?
Quoted from frolic:, but it's people reading lines, not emoting or projecting..
I had the same impression when I first heard the voice overs....for 1-off it's great, but for mass production I think this is a significant weakness.
Very nice looking playfield. My only criticism so far concerns the voice call outs. I hope he reconsiders using professional voice overs or perhaps with sound editing software they can be "tweaked"?
Quoted from KingPinGames:do you want this to become a $7500 pin? professional voice overs don't work for free.
Professional doesn't mean it has to be james earle jones. I'm not the only one seeing this as a weak point in an otherwise very promising pin. Given it's open source I'm sure someone will end up making changes in this area.
Quoted from benheck:We are working on re-doing the backglass and side art. Attached is the direction we're taking the cabinet side art in. Simple, bold, iconographic.
The backglass will be the same layout as it is now, but hand drawn. It will probably be re-colored so as to match the rest of the game.
