On to the next layer of plaster. I don’t know if I am doing this right. But if it works I’ll have a method. I’m thinking for new ramps. Just foam and then plaster over it might work.

I did see that one. My main method I’m testing is the spray foam base topped with plaster. Im hoping to get it strong enough to make a few. We will see. This weekend I’m going to slowing be working on it. I did some shaping but it’s still curing. I did break a small peice off. For now I want to get it close and then start building up the lips. It’s one of those work on it for 1/2 hour every night and it will be done.

I am not done with my mold. But did my first shot at forming it. I had a frame holding failure. So not as defined as I would have liked. But enough to know what modifications I need to make before the next forming. Going to try again tonight.

Finally got the plexi refitted. Now I wonder if there’s time to touch up the art and get a real translight printed. The name needs to be redone to match the cabinet and the colors just didn’t pop like they were supposed to.

Working on the new computer this week. Updated os and skeleton. Also has a hdmi out for the new screens.

Took the day off from work to eat ahead on the ramp. The half pipe is done and mounted. Next to get the ramp mounted. Last is gate switches.

Made some stellar progress today. The left ramp is almost done. Just needs some protectors made and also the switch gate re done. Big thanks to Hawke666 for helping streamline the computer. I have a bracket on order and some re routing of wires. Hope to have that all done earily next week.

Well done for today. I have a temporary power supply in and a new one on order. Bracket came in early for the computer, basically it was delivered exactly when I was installing the computer. I need to get some shorter cables for the screen. And maybe usb. I like the purple one though. I’ll measure up and amazon later.

Only other negative. I don’t think the lcd driver board I am using supports auto power on. May have to look into Scott D’s auto Shutdown board for the screen and computer.

Yes. Actually this change is reducing the cables between the cab and backbox. I have been consistently doing fold tests.

Ha Ha, never made that connection... I am going to cover the chain with a flexible cover to protect against shorting, but the speaker magnet does protect it from that. The wires don't show up or affect the light, as long as you keep them from touching the back glass you won't notice. I wanted to get a official trans light material but didn't get a chance to redo the art in time. Right now im using a quality paper printed on, the printer in question was a wax based unit that lost some of the vibrant colors.

rufessor Thanks, i have an idea of how the art will go, but nothing solid yet. The current clips are a test to see how i like that style, closer to DE but less busy and with a background texture. I will have to decide in the next month or two as im working on my playfeild layout with inserts at the moment.

Wow. This is a first for me.
I’m still on final prep work for expo. I have since the video added some effects. A lot more images. Fine tuned attract. And now trying to add cyborg progression letters. All the images are made. I just need to crack the code sample I was given.
I was close last night but nothing would display. I tried a bunch of stuff. Then realized I wasn’t ever calling the code. Ugh. Start over today.

Game is practically really for expo. Just continued play testing for bug or crashes.

GITS survived Expo with 271 plays, we had one or two ball jams, a broke flipper spring, and the new screen mod died on saturday. my new ramp gate bolts had the wrong nuts on it and those came off. overall a huge win. game is set back up in my basement, ill be digging into the screen issue and finding lost parts over the next week. I also picked up a nice LE style metal apron from Pinball Life. Ill be doing a quick video of me installing some new playfeild slides form back alley creation soon.

Whoo hoo. I added a couple flipper codes for attract modes. It plays a sound for two separate codes right now. I would like to try a animation with sound next.

Thanks for the link. He does a overview of most of the custom games. Missed a few that were there Saturday only. Todd god the ramp both directions but missed add a ball on the drops by a couple targets.

Last night Jack and I designed the screen layout. What are your thoughts. Initially I think the current player score should move up and to the right. And the small player score that’s up will say “player up”. The multiball status can be below that. Also need to add credit and ball in play. The score mode I have to work with has 1,2,3,4,current player. So changing a font or disappearing would be hard. There is also a separate layout for single player. I might do. With keep player one and just move the player up score to the up right corner. Let’s get the rest ironed out first.

Hey guys. I’m thinking of live working on the game via some stream. Maybe start with one camera and upgrade to two. Thoughts on what platform would be easiest to watch? Twitch. YouTube live. Facebook live?

Thanks. I did an experiment yesterday night. Both Facebook live (linked shared to pinball mayhem page) and twitch (PinballMayhemEd).
Facebook kept good quality and the viewers were chatting. Mostly friends. But killed my stream because of music copyrights.
Twitch kept it going. But less participated. Also a lot of dropped frames and I had to restart it at some point. Lost half the people. So it’s a crap shoot. I also need to figure out if I can reduce the lag between live and broadcast.
When I get the rest of my gear I want to play some GITS live.
