Robin, you already came up with and even implemented the sliding scale vote system which you wanted for your website and showed a weak hand by relenting to those who desired the old system...
I just hope you understand that this current system which alows folks to flame posters with that big red star is the type of fuel which helps to create incendiary individuals like kaneda, and promotes hateful pm's as the op has described.

Well this thread made me think, made me laugh and made me reflect.
I gave some thought as to how the system could be improved.
I laughed at a few of comments.
Most importantly it made me reflect on the BS moderators have to deal with from time to time. I have to give a public tip of the hat to @forceflow. I may not agree with everything he posts, but there is no way I would or could do his job.

I like the mods that still participate in the forum and mix it up in threads a little. Seems like when most of them become mods the BS causes them to slowly stop participating.
Forceflow is one of a kind, and is a rare Gentleman, in today's world.
His disposition is something I look up to and his words are those I have respect for.
