Hi

My supercharger is kinda low (avg140) so checked it in test mode and the ball trigged Opto 2 and 3 only half of the times when the ball passes through (at low speed).
All 3 solenoids are working.
I changed both transmitters and receivers on all 3 optos.
I can open/close them easily with a pen.
Every new optos have good and new solder joints.
I have a brand new accelerator board.

It seems like opto 2 and 3 can see the ball only half the Time. Rare are the passes when all 3 optos are working.

What could it be?

As a matter of fact, I have a spot light near these optos and since I'm testing without the SC cover, I tought it could be it.
- So I removed the led from the spot
- when in supercharger test
- enable all 3 solenoids to see if all optos are trigged by the ball.

Only opto 1 is reacting. Both 2 and 3 are not opening at all. I put my finger to block the signal on opto 2 and Fuse 103 popped.

What is the good sequence on a working SC? Every opto is activating the solenoids it comes with? So I should see them Close/open everytome the ball goes through?
How by opening opto 1 it can blow a fuse?
(By opening I mean I Kent my finger on the Opto so it might have stayed open toi long and the fuse did what it did)

Bump

Ok…just a bump and recap:

The ball can easily make the SC loop. SuperCharger average speed at 115-120.
I know that all 3 solenoids are working and measuring good (3ohms). Also working individually in test mode.
The game has a new accelarator board mentionning it's suppose to speed at 93.
I don't have any frictions with the diverter's rivets or any plastic
I waxed the Supercharger.
I changed all 3 receivers and transmitters
I reflowed every connector on the opto board
I got new non-magnetised balls
I tested continuity everwhere.
So how one SC can go to 120 and another around 80?
