    Hello all,
Just had some board work done on my getaway I’m working and not getting the machine to boot now. The machine gives me no sound, dmd is dead, nothing. Can someone please send me over some pics of their getaway connections on their driver board to see if I have something hooked up in the wrong location? I labeled everything when I took them off but I’m not sure what else could be going on.

Turn the game on and snap some pictures of the boards with the game on.

    Driver board?

Board work on which board? The driver board or one of the others? You haven't made that clear.

Sorry yes the driver board. The ipdb photo isn’t clear enough to make totally sure.

Turn the game on and snap some pictures of the boards with the game on.

Easier for me to help identify any potential issues, even though I don't own the game. It is a WPC game and they all boot the same. Knowing what LEDs are lit help me.

Check the ribbon cable on the driver board to make sure it on correct. You can disconnect it and try booting the machine, if it boots it was off a row.

Looks like your MPU is not booting up. Do the circled LED's stay like this on the MPU? Or do the status changes at all?

Technically, the way the ribbon cable is bent around at the DMD controller board, this ribbon cable needs to be swapped at both ends.

    Also, reseat this ribbon cable.

Just reseated everything. Still nothing. Tried with the driver board disconnected and does the same thing. All of the led lights stay the same and on. If I disconnect the 3 ribbon cables to the cpu board when I turn it on the lower light comes on and the center light blinks.

That was going to be the next step. Have another pair of ribbon cables to try at the top of the CPU board?

    Hello,

A quick bump to thanks both jonesin9999 and PinballManiac40 : I had the same boot issue on my #RS , and i was wondering how to fix this, where to look first, etc.
Reseating the ribbon cables did the trick!

Looking forward to get my hands on new cables too...

    Thanks again!
