I just ran into this issue. The high power opens the diverter very well, the low power will only hold it open one or two loops in the supercharger. (I know the ball is not hitting the plastic above the diverter)
I went to the coil test and found the low power to be very weak, it barely holds itself open without a ball in the sc. When I move the diverter by hand, there is some resistance between the closed and open position, as if there was a "bump" in the middle of the travel. I don't know if that is normal or not, I imagine it is not.
What should be my next step? Should I plan on rebuilding the mechanism? Is there something simpler and easier I can try?
