Aside from mechanical issues, cold solder joints on the high current driver board are common. Check there first. Then check connectors and header pins on the power driver board. Note that the ball launch coil is NOT supplied power via J107-2. This is an error in the manual. Power comes from J109-7. Check that is is plugged in.
