When I power on my Getaway, it makes a fast static tapping sound, then about 4 seconds later it turns on. Is this a signal that something is about to go bad? Thanks

Mine also. 1200 plays in last 20 months and no problems.

So, all that noise means to me is "Redline Mania Time!".

Mine does that, too. It also makes a very load pop when turning it off. Plays fine and never thought it was abnormal being my first pin.

Guess we can confirm that it is normal for this game to making tapping sounds, and then have a delay of about 4 seconds before powering on.......
