I know a lot of people have posted advice about this subject before but my issue is a bit odd. Today I went to play and test shows that opto 1 was closed. I took the advice of reflowing the solder on the optic board but had no luck. What's odd is that previously I would be playing and the game would make the noise as if the supercharger had been activated. So at this point I'm not sure if I just first change the opto or check to see if it's a board issue. I know my posts seem very noobish so please forgive me in advance. I am learning slowly. ~_~ Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

The opto boards are inexpensive so I would first try replacing them.

Ok so the weirdest thing happened. I had noticed that some of the switches up top weren't working. I had an error message saying to check the green one. When I got under the hood I noticed that a solder point had come lose. After I re soldered it not only did all of those switches work, but I didn't get an error with opto 1...and...I played a 10 minute game without the super charger acting funny. It's a Christmas miracle. Has anyone else had weird stuff like that happen before where one thing off caused the game to do something else?
