Recently picked up a GHS2 and noticed the upper flipper was a lightning flipper bat. It also had a stronger 11629 coil instead of the recommended 11630.

Were these suggested changes from players to make the game play better or were these changes a likely result of the operator just using any parts available to fix it at the time?

Thanks
David

I'm guessing likely parts around when they broke but interesting to hear from others on here who've dealt with them on route.

Link to the manual.

Flipper should be the same as the lowers. B-13104-R
Coil should be 11630, 11629's down below. That one probably isn't a deal breaker, but I'd change the flipper for sure.

Great game, enjoy!

You should replace the parts back to factory.

Coil strength info below. If you leave on the stronger coil on the top flipper, you'll break stuff.

I'd actually like to try this out and see if it makes the loop/ramp shot any easier to make--I'm sure that was the idea behind the swap.
