I haven't had any other WPC issues.
Getaway-specific:
I'd run the ramp test for a while and ensure that the ramp works and that the CPU knows what position the ramp is in. My microswitch was broken, so the CPU didn't reliably know what position it was in. Made the ramp freak out during gameplay.
Also want to make sure the ramp is flush with the playfield when down and that it leaves enough clearance for the ball to go under when it's up. There are adjustments for that.
Run the supercharger test and make sure the ball doesn't lose any speed going around it.
The divertor is a common place for the ball to lose speed. It's hard to get that part and people repair it with screws that slow the ball down. Might examine it and make sure it's sturdy.
If the machine has a credit dot, it might be because nobody has managed to lock three balls in a while. Happens to me sometimes.
