Got a call to do a quick shop job on a HS II: replace rubber and burned out lamps. I haven't had the opportunity to work on this game in the past so I was wondering how it was for rubber replacement. It doesn't look too bad from the photos and the manual. 17 rings and some posts. Or is it a nightmare and just doesn't look like it?

Worked on the machine today. Holy battery corrosion, Batman! The MPU is toast! Ground errors and non-working switches due to the corrosion. I'll have pics after tomorrow.

Got the flippers rebuilt, bulbs changed, and all the rubber replaced. Not bad at all to replace the rubber.

Thanks. I've been repairing machines for people for a little bit. I've recently hung out the shingle and I'm making it official. This is the worst battery corrosion I've run into so far.
