Quoted from TheCapn:Update: First coat of clear will be going on the PF shortly...
Drumroll please........
Bout time you got back to work.
Just kidding. I've been through the "I don't want to look at it stage".
Looking good. It's hard to take pictures in the booth because the plastic is milky. The reflection of the plastic in the clear makes it look like it's not shiny. The first time I shot in the "booth" I kept trying to figure out what was wrong with them. Lol
Quoted from TheCapn:lmao. You think that hasn't crossed my mind?! At this point its the principle of that matter. Not to mention if everything goes well I will have the only Getaway with clear inserts. Now if its worth it - that is yet to be determined. I feel with every fail - I learn something. Which only makes my skills better down the road. Without a doubt there are a majority of people that would have said "F$&# it!" This is why I'm working on two PFs. Just so I have something else to fall back on. Both are looking better and better after every task. If there is anything I have learned doing pinball related restores - its patients.
I hear ya bro. I went through the same thing with my fire. Learned a ton and the fact that there were repos out there, I had nothing to lose. Plus it’s fun at a show when someone ask you if it’s a repro playfield and you can tell them “Nope”. It changes the look on their face. Lol
