Quoted from jeffr:

That's perfect. Their site has problems taking the order, but I've emailed them. Still need to source the red dome, though.

There you go.

Good luck with your restoration!

Quoted from jsyjay:

Just finished restoring my Getaway with new cabinet decals, powder coated metal work, comet LEDs and playfield protector. Really happy with how it turned out!

I really like the black powdercoat, great job!
This is also the first Getaway I see installed with this alternate translite. I'm still unsure which one I'll be buying. Thanks for sharing!

Quoted from mjenison:

I saw that, but was completely insulted by the fact that they dubbed over the game play audio with EM pinball sounds!

Annoying and almost always the case when a machine is on screen being played.
It seems that the foley guys only have access to old school pinball sounds.
Probably nobody notices but us pin enthusiasts.

Fantastic work, OlliG and Mr_Tantrum

Quoted from OlliG:

Up to something new ... this is supposed to be a frame to fit on the yellow (ugly) traffic-light.
Not sure if this is enough to make it more beautiful? ... maybe I should create a complete new housing?

Great idea, but I believe to put it on top of the existing lights would make it look even more bulky than it already does.
I would prefer a replacement part which gets rid of the stock light housing and takes the existing light board instead.

Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

Interesting thought. Not sure how much room there is to decrease the width and height given the size of the light board, but possibly some depth could be lost. Where does one find the jewel inserts required for an all new housing?

How about getting rid of the light board and go for an all new, smaller traffic light design?
Here's a quick find for 10mm LED lenses that might work:

Quoted from OlliG:

We could make a traffic light in the same style as the supercharger bridge? With protruding round LEDs?

Not a fan of protruding stuff. I like your current design better.
Anyhow, I see you're quite playful and skilled in the 3D-design department. Curious to see what else you're going to come up with.

I like Version 3 (yellow front/black housing) best. Spray painting would be an option too.
How do you do the lenses?

Overkill?!

You forgot the pedestrian signals!

OlliG is on a roll, I love it.
