Does anyone know where to get a supercharger ramp sticker?
In the middle of complete restore of mine. had a buddy of mine make these.
don't have the file. buddy of mine done them for me. but I am pretty sure I could get some more. shoot me a pm.
Thanks for the kind words. tried to send pms to those already shipped. MustangPaul brought it to my attention that they are correct in length but only 7/8 inch wide and should be 1inch wide. going to see if I can get that corrected. sorry I didn't catch this earlier.
SIZE Corrected Thanks
I got this one. if your real particular. you will not like it. the gauges along bottom are a touch blurry. I am going to start looking for another one. or if anybody has one let me know to. Thanks
Quoted from MustangPaul:
I've always wanted to light up the gauges on that speaker plastic. I wonder if the printing on it is transparent enough to let light through.
You have to peel the black sticky tape off back of the original the one from Germany won't work. The silk screen one will.I am doing that to mine working on a template for the speaker panel now
Decided to make my own stop light. wish my camera showed the lit red, yellow, green better. I think it looks a little better than stock one. just my opinion.
still restoring getaway. keep adding mods. just about got this one done. gauges in speaker panel lit.
Thanks MustangPaul also used your lit sling gauges idea to. got to figure out where to wire them in. there 12v dc. pic is running them with 9v dc
Found the leds size to match . Had a really scratched up speaker panel so I cut the gauges out for a template. Routed and dremaled out holes so they inlay not against panel had to cut speaker cover around leds you can see a little grove along bottom for wires I filled back in .done that so wouldn't be in way to install a color dmd
Got a buddy going to make me a new stock looking speaker panel. (Getaway)These are not screen printed. There reverse printed on clear then stuck on backside of plastic then covered with thin white. I can get the plastic laser cut. But would have to do a whole sheet. Which would make 15 out of a sheet. The cost would come out to 55.00 a speaker panel. Just curious if anyone would be interested in one. Supposed to get sample this coming week. Want to see exactly what it looks like first. Supposed to look as good as screen print but we will see. Pm me if interested in one
got to see speaker sample. trying to figure how to put good pics. inserted some but were to small to really tell anything.top is sample
Buddy of mine just done me a speaker panel. Not a exact perfect match. But for 45.00 and so little difference in it. I can live with it.
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:
Did he do the artwork and production (i.e. who owns the artwork - can you share it)? Does he have some sort of commercial equipment to cut the plastic and print the graphics?
Very cool. I would want to match some of the graphics and coloring a little closer to original (would take several hours of work), but overall a great deal for $45.
I'm really toying with the idea of my own DIY LED speaker panel. Would your friend be willing to produce these for others, and would he (assumptive) take offense if we "improved" the artwork? Also, what does the back look like? In order to work with LED, overall it must be blacked out with all areas to be illuminated not blacked out.
Yes he had to redo the art work. don't know if he would share it or not. He actually done a sheet of these which made about 15 of them. The circles and panel were laser cut from a sheet. Then reversed printed on clear thin vinyl then covered with thin white layer. So light will come through.
